This morning, I prayed for God to move mountains and wield His mighty, awesome, sovereign power to bring S home in JUNE. I felt the prompting of the Holy Spirit to specifically ask for June.
My agency would tell me this is impossible. My God tells me everything is POSSIBLE with Him and through Him. I am placing my trust in the one who has proven His faithfulness again and again.
An hour after praying boldly for this seemingly impossible move, I was asked to read Mark 11: 24 at the start of our Sunday School class.
Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. {Mark 11: 24}
...whatever you ask for in prayer...
There are no qualifiers stating that it has to be a reasonable request. Whatever you ask. If you believe. If you trust and have faith and know that God is sovereign. Then, you will receive it.
Such a beautiful promise.
I'm so thankful God whispered a reminder to me this morning that He is at work. He is only good. He is faithful and hears my cries and stores each of my tears in a bottle.
Hope abounds.
Will you join me in praying this bold prayer? I believe there is true power in prayer among believers.
"Take this most seriously: A yes on earth is a yes in Heaven; a no on earth is a no in Heaven. What you say to one another is eternal. I mean this. When two of you get together on anything at all on earth and make a prayer of it, my Father in Heaven goes into action. And when two or three of you are together because of me, you can be sure that I'll be there." {Matthew 18: 18-20 The Message}

I will pray for June too!
ReplyDeleteMy husband and mom both told me yesterday that they were boldly asking for our girls to be home by May (we originally thought April). I kinda inwardly rolled my eyes- afraid to get my hopes up. But then, I read.that.exact.verse! Boy, my view on God is too small,
Chills! i love that God is working in both of our hearts with the same verse! I am so afraid to get my hopes up and my initial reaction when I felt Him prompting me to ask for June was fear and protection for my heart. I know that my view of God can be too small also!
